Just trying to see what the average idle speed for most is. When I sit at a stop light, my idle speed is just under 500 rpms. I would say mine sits right at 400 or so. What is your idle speed?

I have read that 400 to 500 is normal, 750 seems a little high to me.

Its amazing how much idle speed varies amoung us. I was feeling like 400 to 450 was low but I am starting to feel ok about it. If I had a manual shift I would be looking for more in the 600 to 700 range but I guess mine is ok for an automatic.
