driving style: take off at moderate pace. i learned real quick not to drive like i used to (like an idiot)
aftermarket: knn cold air intake very very high flow exaust, and a jet chip (the only chip they make for this year)
city/highway mpg ratio: 13/16 if i baby it and 100% cruise control maybe 17 or 18ish on highway

i have a 89 4.0 2D stock everything with 190k miles with a 5 speed, and i get around 20mpg in the city.... and on the freeway.... 17-18... which is weird.... should be the other way around but whatever.
1999
134000 mi on it
31-10.50 budget boost (3 in)
Drive like I just killed someone
Average 15-17 on a tank
1995
50000 mi on rebuilt (about)
33-13.50. 4 1/2 front 6 rear
4000+rpm as constant as possible! (Trail rig)
When on road 11 mpg would be nice

Engine: 4.7 STROKER " ONE BAD SOB "
2000 w/3.5 lift , 31 x 10.50 rear ratio 3:55 & 4.7 stroker stage 2 intake , Helix intake spacer , flowmaster exhaust . I noticed after the lift and larger tires that my XJ gets better fuel mileage highway but lost on the city side 17 city / 24 - 25 highway . Larger engine helps it cruise easier , cruises 65 mph @ 1750 rpm used to be around 2050 rpm w/235's

When I had 31's on my Jeep I only got like 13-14 hwy. After I went back to 235`s it went up to 17 or so hwy. Then when I switched to the 99+ intake it shot up to like 20 hwy but my city mpg dropped a lot.
