I dont really want to spend money on new rims. would 33" 11.5 / 15 with a 4.5 inch lift fit?

 

have you considered running treadwright 285/75/16 ?

I bought 4 of them and got them for only $530 delivered

you could pair that with a set of Cragar soft 8s 16x8 (around $50-70 per wheel)

I am running this setup and they measure 33.25 x 11.25) hell of a deal

 

yeah you can run 11.5" width tires just fine. 10.50 would be better though

 

the main issue is not the tire width, but rather the backspacing

On stock wheels even a 10.50 will rub at full lock.

 

33/11.50 is probably not a very common size 33/10.50 would be a more common size and fit wheels better, may need spacers to help with front rubbing.

ive got 3.5" lift and my 33/10.50s dont rub. andy they are stock wheels no spacer so his 4.5 should be good

 

I run 33/12.5 with 4.5" of lift. But you will rub on full lock with a stock rim. I picked up set of good rims on craigslist for $150 bucks. You will also rub on flex without some fender trimming.
