Default What's this part called?

I broke a part in the engine compartment for the second time and want to buy a new one but am unsure of the name so I cant look it up online. If you have the hood open, its on the passenger side of the valve cover towards the firewall. Several coolant hoses connect to it and it has a valve of some sort attached. Its black plastic too. Anyone know the name?

Are you talking about the heater control valve?

Yep, that's the part. Thanks. I'm leaning towards new because the last two junkyard ones broke.

Yeah I strongly suggest you go with a new one of those. My 96' had the original valve, and it disintegrated. Dumped all my coolant, and every one of those cheap plastic hookups broke off inside the hoses when I was replacing it.

They are quite cheap new, and well worth it as it should hold up a lot longer than the JY ones. Remember to reattach the vacuum line too lol.

New is the way to go, being cheap will always cost you more money later down the road.
