My temp runs at 210 to 215 all the time, from -20 to +90

make sure your a/c fan is kicking on and check for spin. i've seen some later xj a/c fans turn very slowly. you may need to replace it.

This is what happened to mine. i have not updated my original thread but will soon.

I have never had an eletric fan so i didnt know how or when it should run.
A lot of people on here gave me great advice and taught me a lot about the cooling system.
When i would crank my jeep and turn the a/c on the fan would be moving fast but when it would get hotter i would look at the fan and it would barely be turning. this is caused from when the motor in the fan gets hot, the resistance gets higher causing the fan to turn slower and not pulling much air at all. then your geep will creep up towards 220 like mine did. i changed my fan ( advance auto, 100 bucks ) and it has not gone above 210. i am in the florida panhandle so i know what type of heat your talking about. i had changed everything also. does your lower rediator hose have the spring in it so it cant collapse?

Well, I put in a 160 T/S on the 17th. Now it runs @ 180 unless I am idleing for a long time it will go to 210-215. Ohh and this is with the A/C on. Remember I live in Phoenix Az. I guess that makes me a yuppie. It was 114 here today, I just can,t see the fun in 4x4ing in this heat without a/c. If you want an example of what is like, take your blow dryer and use it to try and cool off !!!!

Same upgrade I did.. never goes about 195-200 on I95 bumper to bumper traffic with temp of 90 degrees outside... And I got rid of that ugly bottle above the heater blower and made room for other goodies like a compressor to air up after trail rides..

Yep, people who have never been here in the summer simply cannot imagine the heat.
I run a 195* thermo, summer time, idle, in traffic, with a/c on it can get up around 210. Winter, it runs 195-205.
Has been like this since I moved here in 2000.
