There is a Rustys thread on this forum. Please read before buying from him. Check all your grounds and any competent auto parts house can check your battery. Sears will also do the battery check.

Sloshing a regualar battery around can certainly kill it. I once had a standard wet cell battery in my rail buggy die after taking it across bumpy dunes. Look into a Gel Cell bettery like an optima. They are expensive but very worth it.

starter? have you checked that? Anytime i had a "clicking" noise and no start, it was my starter. A pound or two from a hammer and it would start, confirming it was the starter.

But anyways, do you need a tie rod tube or tie rod END? It's more likely you need the tie rod end, and if so, just replace it with a stock piece unless you want to upgrade to a zj tie rod or one of the many upgradable tie rods on the web.

Couple options for you there. Some of those use the stock tie rod ends. The stock rod ends don't seem to be a major issue out on the trails like bent tie rod tubes.

Gerr on here and on NAXJA has a good price on ZJ tie rod upgrades. Check him out he is legit. He is pushing glasses but carries Jeep parts as well.

X2 if you go down to the vendor section look for gerr's post, he is an honest vendor.

Also to whomever asked it is the ZJ tierod that you want, it works very well and they are a dime a dozen.

What is a cad fork? Water hose works great for removing mud. Try it before the electrical cleaner.
