Cool what is your exhaust set up

looking for some idea's for my exhaust i will be redoing fairly soon. the only problem i have is that the rear shackle on the exhaust side is in the way of the tail pipe. if anyone has any idea's or suggestions i am open to anything. pictures would also be nice. thanks

I have it straight piped with no muffler...sounds good but may get annoying after a while if its a DD. Sounds great on the trail though..

Mine just ends behind the cat, result of a wheeling accident. Loud as hell and sounds good, and the wife is not a fan! Not sure how legal it is but I like it.

Flowmaster Super 40!! Also, the AEM intake I had installed makes the note even deeper! I have 64,692 miles currently, but I've had the Flow for 10K and loved every minute of it!

My tailpipe should be here tomorrow. Gonna run the tailpipe and no muffler...
Ive been driving it like this^ for about 1500 miles now, and its not too bad.

i have the dyno max cat back with no cat it has a nice low rumble the down rev sounds like a 60's 70's muscle car

on mine i have no cat just a muffler and a turn down right of the muffler it sounds pretty good about to put a flowmaster 40 on it

Ebay header,Thrush welded muffler and a Highfolw cat, all other piping stock.

Banks header, high flow cat, flowmaster super 40 series. very throaty sound, turns a lot of heads.

2 1/2"pipe with a stock style cat and a stock style muffler and it has a decent sound but gonna upgrade to a cherry bomb muff when i get the chance

mine used to be almost exactly like that picture! just with less after the cat



now instead of that cat being there i have a flowmaster super44

has a rich deep tone sounds real good

ive got a 01 XJ with a Flowmaster Catback with 2 & 1/2" piping. goes up over the axle and ends straight down. sounds beautiful and it is pretty much silent in the cabin at highway speeds.

my cat ram away so i just put a 40 flow in it with a dump. sounds pretty good to me

best answer yet.

I had a thrush glass pack and i loved how it sounded, but i had to take it out and put a stock muffler in for inspection but i'll probably be getting a cherry bomb soon
