Can't open your link, and I reckon you're in the US.

Why go RHD? You would just get all confused, your part stores will get confused, you will find yourself on the wrong side of the road half the time, people will think you're driving an import, your wipers and indicators will be confusing, you will continuously walk to the wrong side of the car when you're trying to get going, postal service cars will greet you, you're spare tyre will be on the right side too, your engine bay lay-out will be different, when posting a question or thread on CF you will have responses that make no sence since they relate to advice regarding LHD's, you will also have responses that make perfect sence once you translate them to your RHD (and some responses are actually the same for LHD and RHD), you will encounter disbelieve and denial, you will have to explain that you are a RHD and not all XJ's were created equal, your transmission cooler lines enter the radiator on the hot side, your belt routing is different, you will discover many more differences, and your life will be different.

But other than that: Different is good, RHD's are awesome.

You took that right.
Spare still on the left? Interesting...Mine is driver's side, causing quite some uneven weight distribution (no, I'm not a fat bastard

Makes more sense weight distribution-wise, but not so much in regards to having clear view of traffic when looking over your left shoulder, thats why I think it's on our driver's side anyway.

Maybe this is a special feature of the postal service US XJ?...Dunno.

Everything I've read say's the spare is mounted driver's side so right for RHD, I assume for visibility.

Unless they moved it themselves but if they did that would be stupid because of the visibility problem lol

Regardless a rhd drive xj sounds pretty fun. And a career in the mail business would be easier for you.

The paint looks new, which is probably part of that cost, as well as the RHD gimmick. I mean RHD is cool, but whenever you see it, it seems to come with an added cost.

$5500 is a bit steep in my opinion, then again it's a rust free one from down south.

Even still, around me that thing might fetch $4k, and that's here with the rust/salt belt and a higher cost of living.

If it was worked up a bit and/or with slightly less mileage, I could see the $5500. Nice paint and RHD for $5500 just seems a bit high to me though.

Edit - I also just saw that it was a 2wd with an R - title.

Lmfao....pass. $2k at the most. The new paint was a waste of money.

The center console doesn't look like those in other RHD XJs I've seen. If you look at it the E-brake is on the same side as a LHD as is the location that the 4wd shifter would go.
