What years will match up??
I have a 97 xj auto with a shot 4.0, tired of messing with it. What year motor do I eed to get to have everything match up perfectly?? 97-99? or arethere more yearsthat were the same? Thanks for the help.

1996-1999, make sure the 1996 has cylinder head #0630. 2000-2001 will have the #0331 head - you will probably want the intake (it will swap handily,) and the block is the same - but you don't want the #0331 head anytime earlier than 2002...
