Try putting it in Neutral and starting it.

start by checking all your fuses. including the one's under the hood. but before you do that check your battery cables and terminals. make sure the terminals aren't corroded and try wiggling the cables for a better bite and tighter fit. if that doesn't work then check your starter. it's most likley something simple if it just quit working.

haha I wasn't being a smart *** there is a neutral park switch which prevents the jeep from starting if it isn't in Park or Neutral. My Jeep is starting to have the same problem, but it actually went away...for now.

well wait did it start in neutral??? If you have the same problem mine has there are three potential fixes...I think. The linkages are out of whack and they need to be adjusted, the switch is starting to go (but that is on the tranny), or you just leave it be and just keep starting it in neutral.

I am leaving mine be until Spring when it isn't so cold out, so I haven't looked to deep into the issue.

Really now... what answer do you want to hear?

Honestly, you're not gonna get any different suggestions than what you got from last night's thread, my friend...

So far you ruled-out the Ignition Switch and NSS, Your Battery is good, you tried jump starting it...

Did you try taking the Starter out and having it tested or replace the Cables? This would be my next suggestion...

GET OFF YOUR 'PUTTER AND GO WORK ON IT!!!

I really do like to help people out that are in need, but it really peeve's me when people just waste my time!

nope, wont start in any gear. i wish i could explain what happens.. like you were to go to open ur jeep the door would buzz.. saying its ajar. mine used to do that. but now i can turn the key into the on position and the radio wont kick over and the door sound wont come on. but if u leave the key in long enough it some times comes on. but its really low. like kinda about to turn off. and if the dome lights come on and i put my foot on the brake the domes will turn off. anything?

Well, that being said. He needs to check all his electrical connections and get his starter checked. $20 says its one of those two things

Assuming your battery is good. you have a wiring issue. sounds like a loose ground
