Hey guys, my coil pack has a small twisted pair of wires coming off the connector, looks like it may have been added by the PO. ONe of the wires is broken, but I don't even know what it is.

This wire passes over the engine and goes into the firewall in front of the driver position.

Anyone know what it is?

Not sure but dont look stock. Where does it end up in the cab?

 

From the coil pack into the cab would seem like an aftermarket tach...right?

 

I would bet it was for an aftermarket alarm. it would control spark and not alow it to start unless it was disarmed. but just a guess...
