Default What wheels will fit

Ok I have searched and I am still not sure what to use. I am keeping my 2000 cherokee at stock height. I want to get black steel wheels. Should I get 15x7 with 4.50 back space or 15x8 with 4.50 back space. I have 30X9.50 tires. which ones will stick out more? How much more than stock?

thanks in advance for the question. sorry i am new to this

With a 9.50 wide tire on an 15x8 wheel it'd look like a mexican-g ride.. Id go with a 15x7 wheel with 4" backspacing.

arent the "canyon" rims 4" backspacing??? you can allways paint them black and have a little more stick out. it will look a little "tougher" than stock

so which will stick out more? what is the better choice? My ideal fit would be to make the tires "flush" with the fenders.

Are your fenders trimmed with no flares or is it untouched?

jeep is untouched. I had jeep ravine wheels from a wrangler with 30x9.50 tires and had no problems. but i had to give those back to my brother

30's will rub a little with no lift, and the less backspacing you have on the rim the more it sticks out. so it you have one 15x7 rim and one 15x8 rime, they will look the same from the outside but you will have an extra inch on the inside of the rim. you can run 33x12.5 on 15x7's so i dont see the problem. you will get less rubbing with the smaller rim due to the bubble effect, with a better footprint on theos 30" tires go with the 15x7
