I have a 94 XJ automatic 4.0. My TC lever has 2 wd, 4 high, neutral, and 4 low.My neighbor has a 95 Grand Cherokee, auto, 4.0. His TC says 2wd, part time, I think 4hi, neutral and 4 low. I know for sure it says part time. Is this a different TC and if so what is the difference. Also is it a different number TC. Thanks

the best way to figure it out for sure is to get under it and read the stamp.
It will have your numbers on it. It's a round plate/ stamp like with red edges. It's a circle shape and it will be on the rear side of the tc face the rear diff. Do you see where it says 231 on the upper line. Look at the upper line on yours.

Your picture shows exactly what I'm talking about. I guess I don't remember seeing the 4 full-time position. I know for sure it said 4 Part time not sure about the 4 full-time. I'll look again. Thanks
