Question What tires should i get?

The UPS man came today and dropped of my rustys 3 inch lift. Now its time to go tire shopping because were probable going to install the lift tommorow night.

Im going to mount my new tires on the stock 16 inch wheels that are currently on my truck. They are an aftermarket jeep wheel and i love them. i want to go with the equivelent to a 31 inch tire so ill have to figure out what those specs would be. But what I want to know is what brand and type of tire I should buy. I travel a lot from North Carolina to New York so I have to get some type of radial tire that wont wear down fast but I also want them to look good. The Only offroading that I do is in the sand at the beach. No mud for me.

Does anybody have any suggestions on what type of tires I should get or what type that you have on your setup and how they perform? if anybody has any pics that would be sweet too.

Yeah, I know BFG A/T are great tires. But I was hoping maybe that there was something similar a little more reasonable priced. I know there good tires but they are damn proud of those things!

General grabber at2's basically have the same tread pattern as BFG at's but there like $30 cheaper per tire. I havent heard one bad review about them either. i plan on buying a set soon, once i put my RC 3 inch lift on that is

I ended up getting BFG rugged trail T/As. I really like them. they were a good mix between all terrain and radial tires and they were only about 140 bucks a piece.

Yeah, I didn't want mud terrains though. I do a lot of highway driving. Needed something with a longer life span.

Their proud of their tires because their durable. Mine have 35 thousand miles on them and still look brand new. roughly 60-70% tread left.
