Currently I'm running around 30 but about 50% of the time I'm riding with 4+ people in the jeep and a ton of s**t in the back so I'm just curious am I running the right tire pressure or should I fill it more? btw I only drive on the streets I dont really do any off roading if that helps..thanks for the advice

need more info, what size tires and what brand. some have a stiffer sidewall and don't require as much air to run properly.
sidewall rating is intended for correct size vehicle. if you run 35s on a light jeep, you don't need the same amount of pressure if they were on a 1 ton truck. so sidewall rating means nothing to us with oversized tires.
there are already a few threads currently on this topic.

The correct tire pressure is whatever pressure that allows even tread wear across the tire (outside edges and center wear evenly). There is no certain/set tire pressure. One needs an accurate tire pressure gauge and a tread depth gauge using both frequently.
