Don't know what all of them are but a few of those wires go to the transfer case for the speedo and gear selection

You are gonna need more help than I can offer, I think the grey goes to the aw4 solenoids, the black to the NSS (on that) and the round one to the transfer case. ...The 2.5 has an auto?..see, I'm already confused. Guess they did do that..not sure..

go to the junk yard and get a complete wiring harness. Your jeep is always going to have electrical probs is you dont get everything done correct.

I'd hazard a guess, as well as the harness Cherokee mentions, (for 6 injectors amongst other things), that you will also need the PCM for a 4.0.

A tip...find Google "advanced search" (all I use). Then poke around. "exclude thees words".."exact phrase"...including these words. (cherokeeformm.com can be one of those).

Absolutely not knowing...I think with the right PCM, and the right harness, ( and sensors for that PCM) it just might be "plug and play" Really completely over my head though.
