I have never seen a switch like this on a jeep in my life, what is it? and what happens if I switch it? thanks for the help!

it s the trans shift control.

keep it on power (that is what jeeps without the switch are set to)

in comfort it just elongates the shift time to make it "smoother"

 

i don't know what it is. the pic makes the word above "power" and the writing below the switch unreadable. what does it say?

 

it is the trans power/comfort switch.

it was kinda a flop in design

 

So do i leave it as is? or should i switch it comfort? its on power right now.

 

just Leave it on Power and never look at it again. it really is a near pointless switch

96 is correct. My cousin has the same thing in his. Leave it on power and forget its there. Its a pointless, trying to be fancy, design.
