Default What size wheels should I get with a 3.5" lift & 10.5x31s?

I am riding stock now but I still need new wheels. What size of wheels do most people have with the aforementioned specifications?

I would like to use the wheels from the lifted specifications on my stock 29's. (if possible)

Also, how would backspacing be a factor? Because I know I will need some backspacing with that lift and tires.

15 x 8 with 3.75-4" of backspacing to eliminate the chance of rubbing.

Yes the stock is 7" but you can run the stock tires on an 8" rim but they will look a little funny but be safe unless you drive very weird.

i have the cragar D windows. i like them better than the soft 8's bc there so incredibly popular. but yeah either 15X7 or 8 and you'll be fine.

I would do that, but 4" backspacing. In my experience, 3.75" rubs like a **** on the newer model xj's. I rubbed on both corners of the front fender with 2", 3", 4" and finally solved it at 5". I have 31x10.5's on 15x8 with 3.75" bs.

The idea is to get a wheel that is 2" less than the width of the tire. 10.5" wide tire fits on a 8" wheel very well. If you want a fatter sidewall for more wheel protection, use a 7" wheel. Of course you can shove a 15" wide tire on a 8" wide wheel if you wanted to. It's mainly user preferences.

your stock wheels will fit the bill, and tuck into the fenders as opposed to hitting the fenders with a lower backspaced/wider wheel.

you will rub the control arms a bit, but most jeeps do anyway, it's nothing to be afraid of

On the topic of tires, I just found a guy who has (4) 31"x10.5" Baja Claws with 300 miles on them. He's asking $400.

Should I jump on this?
