How do I check what size sway bar bushings my 00' xj sport needs? I know i could measure, but is there an easier way?

Use a cresent wrench close it around your sway bar then measure the opening of the wrench.

was in between 25 and 28 with the wrench, so i went back to geometry and took a piece of string and went around the bar, measured the circumference to be 88mm and used the formula

C = (Pi)D to find the diameter.

88mm=(Pi)D
88mm/Pi = 28.01 = 28mm! i <3 geometry

Good then you have the 28mm swaybar. Are you getting rubber or poly bushings? Poly lasts longer.
