What? Go look at Rockauto and price things there . The OE Spectrum Monroe cost more than the KYB gas Monotube, on rockauto, and the KYB is an upgrade, in the Increased Handling and Stability category.
Probably better than my KYB original ride quality.
Although I had good hopes, they turned out to be too soft in mine although I like a soft ride. Sometimes.
You might need to exercise the return policy. I've had to return several Monroes lately. Kind of a drag. Makes me think next time I'll buy a better brand and only have to do it once.
This dent is more than just cosmetic. The shock won't fully/smoothly compress and decompress.

I bought the last pair of Monroe OESpectrums on sale from Rock Auto for $18 a piece. That was for my 1995 XJ. I also bought the last pair of KYB Excel-G for my 1990 XJ, same price.
