I have a 99 XJ, and the drivers seat is wobbly. i took it out, and it's not the bracket it's self, is the supports that bolt to the bracket. basically i just wanna get a new seat to put in it. do i have to get a seat from another 99, or can i take a seat from almost any XJ and bolt it in?? or should i just dump the whole thought process and buy aftermarket?

 

I THINK the 97-01's had the same low seat. I know the one in my wife's 89 is taller than my 97. If you don't mind a little fabricating, some people are loving ZJ seats in their xj's

i wonder what a cherokee would look like with a commanche bench seat in front. that and the little mini console? i told my wife i was going to go to the junkyard and get a bench from a commanche so she could sit next to me, like she used to in my old commanche. she was worried about losing the cup holders.

i think it would be hilarious and reminiscient of hte old ford and chevy full size wagons

 

yea donnie totally. gotta find man grand cherokee seats though... although, how hard do you think it would be to wire in electric ones? just checked the local junkyard, they do have grand cherokee seats, but they want $200 for the electric ones! OMG! and they don't have man ones.
