I recently got some AAL's done on the back (because my leafs were pretty flat) and new coils in the front. The spring shop gave the whole thing some lift with AAL's and larger coil springs.
I have some vibes @ 65mph.... could need an alignment or maybe hack N tap, I've balanced the tires 2 times.
I just want to know what stock height is so I know what kind of lift it now has, and to see if I do need a hack N tap.

I'll try to get some pics but I know there is a way to measure it also. I think it's from the center of the wheel?

Measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare and compare it to the stock measurements. BTW Stock = 17.5" front, 17" back

Stock height varried a good bit too. My 97 sat a good inch taller than my 91 and my buddys 96 country sat even higher. If memory serves me stock coils are about 16.5" when not compressed but if the replacements aren't for an XJ the rates could be off.

From what I've read 17.5" front and 17" Rear is correct measured from the center of wheel hub to the bottom of the flair when all springs were fresh. No sag. Any thing over that is lift.

front;
measure from the top center of axle to the underside of frame... stock measurment is 6.75" +/- .5".

rear;
measure from the top center of axle to the underside of frame(on the inside of the bumpstop)... stock measurment is 6.00" +/- .5".

so I measured it from center of wheel (at work now so it was easier) and I have a 2" lift. Anyone think there is a need for a hack N tap for the vibes or is it just simply an alignment? I had one done 2 years ago but since then I've got new rims and the lift.

a simple alignment should fix this, and can be done in your driveway with just a few tools.

pick a spot on the front of the front tire, measure from one tire to the other, then using that same spot on the rear of the front tire, should be about center btw, measure from wheel to wheel.
you're looking for about 0 to 1/8th of an inch toe in, so closer on the front measurement.

you can adjust this by loosening the two bolts on the adjuster sleeve of the lower tie rod (center link) close to the drivers side wheel. just use a set of slip joint pliers (channel locks) or vise grips. twist up for wider measurement or down for closer measurement.

the springs and AAL's have given you a small lift right? im new at this but ive heard of, even after 1 inch lift, if you drop the tcase .25 er something it might help.. my friend had a really small lift done and he had bad vibes up at higher speeds untill someone told him to drop the tcase a bit and he didnt get vibes anymore...
i dont know if that will help.. probably not but its just a possibility

Mine was 18.5 in the front and 17.25 in the rear cener of hub to the fender flare and it was stock. It is a 91 laredo with a factory tow package I dont know if that makes a difference or not.
