But, I do need to mention this, since people dont seem to get it.
The keyless entry up to 96 uses IR. Uses light, not radio waves. Its line of sight too, just like your TV remote.

Can you give us any history on this jeep? Is there any "extra" like light bar wiring in it? I am thinking it was some sort of law enforcement or gov't vehicle.
