I DD mine on 7" and 35s. It's all according to what you wanna do.

You're not gonna do much in the mud with 30s. Get some good recovery gear and straps before you go out in the nastiness.

3.5" and 31s look good. And there's not much power loss if you do still remember you're driving a Jeep.

Getcha some good shocks and people will stand to ride with you and spend the money to do it right the first time.

you can run 30's on all stock ?? with no mods to the fenders ??? no rubbing ???? wow i did not know that !!! thats very interesting. i was thinking of going with some bigger rubber but did not want to put in a lift kit. would you recommend going with 16's or 17's ?? or keep the stock 15's and just put more rubber on them?? sorry if i sound ignorant, i have had my jeep XJ for about 7 years and until recently it was just a back and forth to work car. when i sold my other two vehicles , this became my all around car, and lately i have been doing alot to make it a little more fun, and i am really falling in love with this thing.

I THINK you can do 30's stock if you keep your stock rims. The diameter doesn't make much of a difference, it's the back spacing that will likely cause the rubbing

Not yet . Its next on the list. Only to regain some MPGs. Not much power loss with the 33s. However I also ran a set of 35s and realy noticed lost power. Currently looking for a cheap set of 31s till I can afford a regear.
I would suggest a 3.5 kit and 32s. You may have to trim a little. I you do not want to start trimming than go with 31s

I have the same kit. Upgrade the track bar and HD brkt. Its worth it. Maybe even get the trac bar brkt brace too. The discos are a little noisy and may even losen up a couple times after install (thread lock em). Also threadlock the track bar brkt. to frame.
