Around here we have a locksmith that can get just about any key fob and cheaper than the dealer.

Great! I will check out the sites. And give a local Locksmith a call... I need a back door key made anyways, might as well 'kill two birds with one stone...'

I have one that I'm not using. I bought it online, took it down to the dealership and they programmed it for free. If you want it, make me an offer. I don't need it anymore cause my girl bought me a remote start/keyless entry/alarm system. It was life changing, especially in the winter.

I was wondering the same thing. It sat there, all creepy like. Now I guess I'll have to go buy one of those keyless entry thingys.

It is my experience with these things that the factory remotes only work from about 10 feet away. Mayber 15 if you havea fresh battery in the remote.

Not sure if afterarket remotes are much better, but its something to think about when dropping $100 on one at a dealership.

The remote start would be nice, but I don't have power locks so I don't see the point in spending the same amount of money for the ones with just the start button
