Default What the heck is this, Coolant Everywhere!!!

There is this plastic junction piping looking thing near the back of the engine that is broken. What is it and where do I find one.

Here are pictures

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Damien

That controls the flow to your heater core. I had to replace the one on my 93 XJ. I got a new one from a dealer but I believe it was a Crown Automotive part as they are far cheaper than dealer parts.

It is called a Water Valve, with dealer part # 5600 5900

This is from the 91-93 Jeep Parts manual, but it should be the same for your 95.

I got it fixed. Thanks for all the help. The part only cost about 15 bux.

The part was detereorated very bad, it litterally fell apart as i was pulling the hoses off of it. It was fairly simple to put on.
Scratching that off the "parts i have not replaced" list.

Yeah, you need to flush your coolant system.......then you can add it to your "stuff I did already " list.....

Check those hoses for cracks. Those hoses and clamps look original and as such are 15 years old. I'd replace them while flushing the system. JMO

I realize this is a really really really really late update, but better late then never. About 4 months after this a freeze plug rusted through, was a mess it was to replace those, about a month later I replaced the radiator.

Thanks for everyone's help,
Damien

Updates are always appreciated!!

I hate it when I find a thread with someone experiencing exactly what I'm experiencing only to have no results or follow ups post.
That thread only helped the original poster. No one else.
I've been guilty of it but no more.

Just so you know for next time it breaks and it will. Don't bother replacing it just re,move it. It is not needed just bypass it. In the newer models the manufacturer never put them in.
