What goes under the driver's seat?
I had been wondering what the studs and bracket are for under the driver's seat on my 99 XJ...
Does anyone know?
I'd guess some factory option that was never installed, but what?

Most likely the bracket for the airbag control module. There was a service recall that moved it to under the center console.

No, I don't lick fish.
Rob, are you sure it's factory? It may have been something the PO installed like for a fire extinguisher or mag light or the like.

Looks factory to me. Sucks it's located so far under the seat - not really a practical place for a fire extinguisher or mag light...
