front diff seals are somewhat easy to replace.
you have to remove the calipers, rotor, hub bearing unit, axle shafts, drain diff fluid, remove diff cover, remove carrier.
the seals are on the inside of the diff tubes. you can make a tool using a long threaded rod and some large washers and a few nuts to make a seal setting tool.
then just pull out the seals from inside the diff housing and coat the new seals and use your threaded rod with the washers on the inside of the diff to pull the new seals into the tubes.
sounds harder than it really is. there's no need to reset gears or anything.
just clean out the diff tubes once the axle shafts are out.
there are links all over the internet with picture step by step instructions.
seals are cheap.
