I'm not sure what brands you can get but I sell tractor trailer parts for a living and when people convert to LED lights the flasher we sell them is made by Grote and is part # 44090. There are others but that`s a fairly common one to find.
An electronic flasher is essentially a relay with an inbuilt timer circuit - flashes at the same rate, regardless of loading (a thermal flasher depends on a certain load - which is why it changes rate when you lose a bulb.)
Tridon EL12 is the unit I usually recommend - should be easy enough to find (I used it because I had trouble with flash rates when towing a trailer or using any sort of "slave lights." The electronic timer took care of that.)

Any electronic flasher will work fine - the conventional "thermal" flashers will not.

Question for you. I picked the Tridon EL12 based on your recommendation. Is this completely plug n' play? After searching around, and correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the stock flasher has 5 prongs. The Tridon EL12 has 2 prongs. Is any other modification needed to make it work?
I got under my dash last night to look for the flasher and couldn't find it after 15 minutes of looking around. I'm gunna give it another look tonight
Thanks in advance, sir.

If you have something else, you will need to go by application - which is why I generally qualify the EL-12 as replacing the #552/#536 old-style flasher.
I pulled my Hazard flasher and put it in the regular spot then the next time I was at the JY I just grabbed another hazard flasher. The ones for the hazards are electronic from the factory

I'm not sure which part number my stock flasher was but when I pulled it out, it had 5 prongs. I plugged in the Tridon EL12 using 2 of the 5 slots that the stock flasher was using and it strangely works just fine. I'm guessing it may be bad to continue using it this way...

To confirm. Yes the EL32 is direct plug in replacement for 552. If you have Leds it will correct your flasher speed. Costs roughly $14 at Advance Auto I don't know the prices elsewhere.
