i have searched a little according the the haynes book my code says my 88 is a limited what is the differance between the sports,limiteds ,and larados ect anyone may have a alink

Yeah, it's mostly all cosmetic. My 94 was divided up between Sport, Country and Standard Edition (SE). The Standard came standard with a 2.5L but the sport and country had 4.0s. Everything else was all interior, audio, trim, the alloy wheels.

R you sure i have a 1994 jeep cherokee se and it has never been modded befor it came to me in my family AKA father to son and mine has a 4.0 high output also dose anyone no the web sight for finding out what your jeep came out of the factory with? thanks

 

My '91 limited, came from factory with; Pw windows, pw locks, pw mirrors, pw leather seats, Lattice style Machined sliver faced alloy rims (I hate them gold ones), fog lights, overhead console w/ comp. & temp., courtesy lights, vanity lighted sun visors, intermittent wipers, gold emblems pkg., premium stereo pkg. (Which sounded good in it's day) privacy glass (tinted & mirrored) front air dam, winter pkg., limited pin stripping, The only thing I don't have is a sun roof, Which I'm glad because they leak.

i have a 98 limited, i love the trim, im not a big fan of that fading plastic bumper stuff... pluss my interior has leather, all power, and woodgrain... its like chuck norris, when power meets class

 

I don't think that all SE came with a 2.5 because I have to 4.0 HO also. I'm almost positive that the SE is just manual windows and manual door locks along with no fancy trim.

Besides styling and an upgraded interior, I think all the trims are the same except the country which was lifted and came with the dana 44. I am not sure on all the other trims.
