I am trying to judge whether it is worth it just to get the heavy duty kit, I am runnin 31 inch BFG AT, and a 3.5 inch RE kit. I was lookin at the kit from iron rock and it looks like a good deal. I am setting up my jeep mostly for light offroading/expeditions, and I am looking for stock or better reliability. What do you guys think, how many miles do you guys have on your set ups?

oh yeah I got a 96 4.0, auto, 231

I was going to have a local shop install it, it would be about 900 for the heavy kit and a little more then half that for the HnT.

 

I've been running the hack and tap from RE for about 5-6 years and no probs but if I had the coin I would spring for the full kit just to get a little extra length of drive shaft.
