They arn't bad. I think clear lights look better on darker xj's. So far as the headlights go i had a pair just like them on my 95. They worked pretty well but they got kinda hot and melted the boot on the back. I didnt use the little bulbs in mine bc i thought it mad the headlight look "ricey" when they were turned on.
