What do the letters & numbers on a window mean?

What do the letters & numbers on a window mean?
I am currently looking for a vent window for my 98 Cherokee two-door and I think I found one but the letters and numbers in the bottom corners are not alike. The window appears it will fit and the tint appears to be similar, but since the letters/ numbers are not the same, I was curious to what they actually even mean.
Mine says Safeguard something...DOT something...
And the one I am looking to purchase says something different.
