blocks arent as bad as they are made out to be. but with the xj, there are plenty of other low cost ways to lift the rear. aal's, bastard packs, shacles, and full packs still dont cost that much. but definately stay away from aluminum blocks. put some low bock sway bar disco's on the front and go crazy!!

Ya I noticed the no shocks in rear how would this affect me on trails and rock crawlin'. Is yours really rough on bumps and everything? Mine feels so tight and bumpy.

its fine to me not to have shocks in the rear. but you should get some cheap ones if you drive it on the street much. mine is just a toy my dd is a 2002 ss camaro.
