Default What do I have...?

So basically I would like to know what I parts I have etc. If you can tell from the pictures what it is and what kind of off roading I would be able to do with it. I wanna go rock crawling but I am not sure if I have the set up for that. Any input would be better than what I know because all I know is I have a lift and it is suspension since I can not get a body lift on it.

first off you missing a bolt in your xmember. and it looks like you have some kind of tc drop??? but im not sure what that is??. i think you have an aal in the rear cuz i thought regular pack came with 5 leafs but maybe more not sure. but i cant tell what kind of stuff its all dirty. its a pretty decent steering stabilizer though. and you dont really need anything but your jeep to go rock crawling. i made it through a level 7 trail on my stock xj. its all about the line you take. i say take it somewhere close and try it out.

after lookin a bit closer, i see blocks in the rear. i'm sure you will hear a truck load of opinions on that. if you are going to wheel hard then you may want to put full leaf packs in.

From what I can tell...
You have a 8.25 rear end, 1.5-2" blocks, 2" AAL, I cant tell what kind of shocks/coils. You have some sort of beefy steering stab looks like a RE in my opinion, and I think that's a after market panhard arm but I can't tell.

measure the blocks, if they're 2 inches or under you'll be fine. Won affect it one bit nor will they hurt anything.....as long as they're quality blocks....Take a magnet and stick it to the blocks, if it sticks then you should be fine. If not, then you need to take those out and either put new steel ones in or make up for the lift in another way. You dont want autozone hollow aluminum blocks on a rock crawler they will crack

Ya I tried to wash it really good just before these pictures you can still see the water dripping but somethings just did not want to get clean. If I took a pressure washer on some parts would it damage anything. May sound stupid but what are the "blocks" I am a complete noob.

before you go crawling or anything major I would do some research about how our XJ's are put together.. It would suck to break something on the trail and not know what or how to fix it. In this hobby being able to repair is more then half the battle..

I would get a CB if it doesn't have one. The geniuses here won't let us use walkie-talkies anywhere anymore, but most CB bands are fine. (You'll need that when you start wheeling with people so they can tell you about the giant Cherokee eating rock ahead.) Also, I would make sure your cooling fans are in good shape (they are the two fans in front of your radiator, one is electric and one is a clutch unless it was changed). That's about it unless you are having problems with anything. Of course, there's always the classic bobble-head hula girl with a grass skirt. The angle the skirt is falling might be a good indication on how tilted you are (you know, a poor man's clinometer!).
