Very clean and nice. Although I can't imagine Dodge Viper parts are very cheap?

Quote: I got a junkyard engine out of a 94 and stroked it to 4.7. Thats what I just put in my 2000! Although..... one can never have too many strokers..... In case my wife asks, this conversation never happened.

There is no real good reason to keep that head around is there? I am thinking I'll just pull the valves and add it to the scrap pile.
Or maybe you SHOULD talk to the wife about stroking it,.......>.>

Sorry I couldnt resist!

Quote: I'm pretty sure the heads are interchangeable. Someone with more knowledge on this will probably chime in if I'm wrong. I think the only issue is the older head doesn't have a spot to mount the coil pack, nothing that can't be fixed with some redneck engineering.
I'm pretty sure they are not...if they were, the heads cracking would not be of such large concern. There are so many pre-2000 heads out there, it'd be a walk in the park.

I think those pins that were mentioned are the key.

Why not reach out to this guy. I think he's going to need a replacement for his 4.0L very soon. Both of you will benefit...

^^^This is pure gold, clean that bad boy up, put it on an engine stand and use it as art IN your house. That way it doesn't kill precious garage space.
