My 89 turned over slowly i gave the starter a few taps after it died and it would slowly start up again.. Then one day it just quit i ended up buying a new one starts up quick every time(:

The best fix he can do is sell me or cruiser his jeep for a few bucks an he can pick up a 97-99 ;P jk

Have him join up and he can ask questions and get one on one advice if needed.

The only people who don't really like Renix are those who haven't had one so they don't know the difference.

Or, they didn't have the correct info to guide them. It's very simple......

When I first got my 90' it started right up, but idled like sh$! Then I cleaned grounds, tb, ect. Once it idled good, the extra long crank took place. Long as it runs good I don't mind the extra cranking. Did a compression test recently, when I put all the plugs back and the coil wire back, it fired up quick but only once. Then it was back to usual. So I cleaned the coil contacts as cruisers list implies and still no diff. Like the man said, it's a 90' be proud it's still on the road.

Yowza. Normal stuff. Do the Tips and get it as good as it gets and enjoy it.
