Default What is this connector?

Browsing around the engine compartment, I noticed this disconnected connector floating around on the driver side. Any idea what it should connect to? It is a two wire connector and comes off the main loom that runs on the drivers side of the engine bay about half way along.

Gotta give a few more hints for us like what year Cherokee, how many pins on the connector etc.

2000 XJ Classic. Two pin connector. Look like 2 gray wires.
