what BS wheel should I run?
I'm about to buy new wheels and I am wondering what backspacing i should get? I want my tires to stick out as far as possible so I dont have any rubbing issues on the control arms or inner fenders. I've seen people running stock, 4.00'', and 3.75'', but i just found out that Procomp sells wheels with 2.5''!! I also want them sticking out really far so I can throw more mud to the sky

your asking for tickets and heat from the cops....
i used 15x8 with 4"bs and 35x12.50 tires they stick out a few inches but only caught the corner of the bumper.

I'm not really worried about tire coverage. I have a lot of friends here in Florida that have like 12'' of tire sticking outside the body. None of them have ever been stopped for it, or asked about it when they get a speeding ticket

its not just the backspacing that determines how far your wheels stick out, like mine have 4 1/2 backspacing and a -12 offset, and they stick out a good 2 inches including my fender flares. So, look for some wheels with a offset, which basically gives the same effect as a wheel spacer except its the wheel that does the spacing, so check the offset on some of these wheels

I am running cragar soft 8's 15x8 with a 4in bs with 33x12.5 and my tires stick out about 5in in the front and 2.5 in the rear. I dont have any rubbing issues now that i trimmed a little bit of my fenders, but soon to be cutting more to be able to flex more.

WOW!! You have 5" of tire hanging out w/4'' BS!?! And I'm thinking about running a 13.50'' tire on a 15x10 riim w/2.5'' BS. If my math is right that would put about 7" of tire outside of the body!!!

but as for 31's on 15x8 with a standard backspacing of 3.75(never heard of 3.58) you will be about an 1.5" out further then you are now. give or take. i can tell you this the tire width will determine looks alot so consider 10.5 vs 11.5 vs 12.5. depends what you want . if you want 10.5 wide tires to stick out noticably go with 3.75. if you want more suddle go with 4.5. im goin with 3.75 cus its the look factor for me..
