Heater control valve If it was like mine, the plastic is disintegrated inside the hoses lol

thats your heater control valve,depeding on where you get it 20 to 30 bucks I'ld say

Yup that is what happened... and I was doing was replacing the spark plugs and the next thing I knew I heard "snap" and anti freeze was dripping!

Mine fell apart while pulling into the driveway. Made such a mess, but smelled so good lol

Totally non-mechanical person also trying to trouble shoot no heat. Will someone explain where under the hood I would look to find that part to check it? And maybe what I'd be checking for and how?

Found a clue in another thread. It's to the rear of the distributor cap. Mine appears to not be leaking.
