I have a set of 30' Wrangler MT/Rs - I love 'em. They are noisy, but they still let you hug the road for actual driving. But on the trail I can grip just about anything. I've driven in rain, snow and ice with them and they haven't let me down. The pictures on my profile were taken with about 16-17k on them. I've put another 5k on them and they haven't changed a whole lot.
i run pro comp mud terrains and tehy work great! i buddy of mine runs the super swaper irocks with are their street freindly mud terrains and they are nasty! tehy are quiet on the road and work great im buyin a set for my cherokee when its time and i just orderd a set of 37x12.50s for my cj.

I love the all the super swamper tsl type tires: irok, ltb, radial, bias, sx, bogger, but i dont really like the ssr's not sure why yet.
I run 32x11.50r15 BFG KM and love them. Aired down to 10 psi and they roll over everything well. I picked mine up for $180 a tire. You may want to look into the KM2 which is new for BFG.

X 2 with the WTFO?!?! I'll put my Pro Comp Mudders up against your Coopers any day of the week for on road manners, wet road driving and being quiet. They will shred ANY off road surface you put them on,too. I was going up hill, in wet slushy snow, on a trail, just today. Cutting trail for everybody else.
Well looks like this thread didn't help you out much at all. I'm sure everyone has their own opinion on which tire is the best. No one had the opportunity to test every tire out there so you can't really get a definate answer. I would just count how many people said this particular tire is good and then take the tire that has the most votes. If you are still unsure, just go with super swamper tsl's or ltb's or any except thornbirds
. They are TRUE mud tires and won't fail you off road cuz that's what they were designed for.

I have been hearing a lot of good things about the ProComp MT's..I am actually considering them..
Anyways here are 2 sites I rely on for reviews..Some are out of date but makes a good reference point for tire research. Most important thing is to read reviews and see what others have said about tires since they ran them.

They ride nice, balance easy and are killers in mud. The tried, true, and proven mud terrain for many years.
