Default What axle parts should i replace??

Im getting strange noises from a few of my wheels. Im pretty sure its stuff like wheel bearings and cv joints. Basically i want to replace any parts at all four wheels that normally fail after 140000 miles. So does anybody know what i should replace to get my baby rolling quietly and smooth again??

I'm doing the same thing now but instead of replacing small parts I got an 8.25 used the gears in it but everything else is new including brakes and limited slip. Cost about $500-$600 with new leaf springs

In the front I'm starting that now. Switching to a high pinion and using the gears in it. I have new hubs, u joints, ball joints, brakes. I'll get a rebuilt kit installed in the diff and be set with like new rears front and back for under $1000. Still a bit pricey but take your time and its better and easier than chasing noises with money.

Between those axles and the Durango steering box my '01 d35 w a lp d30 is switching to a built 8.25 hp d30 and Beafier steering for under a grand in less than a year

That seems like a lot. I havent done the math to see what new small parts would cost. But i feel like itd be less than 600 bucks to do front and rear. I just dont know what parts would be most likely worth replacing. Id like stronger axle shafts while im doing all this but What axle parts are a must for replacement after this many miles??

I'd replace:

In the front-
Axle u-joints with Spicer 760 joints
Ball joints
Unit bearings
Axle seals
Fluid

~450 bucks.

In the rear-
Wheel bearings
Wheel seals
Fluid

~40 bucks

It cost more for sure but here is how it played out

Beat up 8.25. $50
Junkyard zj disc swap $80
IRO truss. $100
Complete Rebuild kit $100
Labor to assemble diff $125
Rotors and pads $80
Brake lines and fittings $25
Nearly new trac lock (200 miles on it) $150

$710 for a nearly brand new LSD trussed disc rear

The front isn't done but would be much cheaper.

I got the rear for $60
Rebuild kit is like $80
Calipers/rotors/pads $120
U joints $120
Hubs $75
Ball joints $120

So, yeah, it cost more but you can bench build it instead of working under the Jeep. If all goes well on the install its relatively easy and you have two "new" rears. Kinda cheap

I hate throwing money at noises and this eliminates all possibilities at once.
