no its tight unlike the old one. I think i still have some carb work to do, check my plugs today. kinda seems like im getting a little too much fuel. but is up and running so i am a happy guy

I hate to point out the obvious, but how is your air filter? I only say that because I have forgotten about it lol. Also it wouldn't hurt to check the little vacuum doors inside of the intake tube. And make extra sure all the choke linkages are clean and functioning properly. I know mine had some issues like that before I did the Weber swap. I have had bad luck with Varijets, they just seem too picky lol. Glad its running though!

yeah i know i need to go through it. its been in and out of alot of mud holes and its dirty as hell. when this first started all the vacuum diaphragms on the carb were stuck with dirt and crap. it definitely needs the go trough. thanx for the advice!!!

sweet thanx. mines has ran great for the few yrs i have had it. but at over 200,000 miles i figure its about done so im working on an 4.3LS engine. but im going to run this 2.8 as long as i can hopefully get the 7" lift in and locker inthe front before i have to do an engine swap. so ill probably hit u up for more advice on keeping it running.
