condensation in the pipe, when cold. But, That is a lot of soot. May want to check O2 sensors and air filter. it is running rich!

It condensation which turns to steam that's cleaning inside of exhaust pipe .Its gonna run rich a little longer because of colder temps .

Looks more like the exhaust melted the snow and the black is asphalt. Unless im seeing it wrong.

Its asphalt, the white crap is the frozen condensation, also what do you mean by running rich? I use regular gas

More fuel gets pumped in while your engine is cold so youll run a little richer until your engine warms up.

You're fine. If that white stuff is frozen condensation and not snow then it is super clean and you shouldn't have to worry about anything.

Yea that is really clean exhaust.

Mine is leaving a large black spot on the ground when I start it up in this cold weather, but then it has a carb and the choke stays closed for several minutes when it is this much below freezing

Start it, drive it.....prolonged idle just wastes gas and pollutes more. Heater will warm up quicker while driving vs idling.
