Hey this is above my mirror and my dad and I have wondered what it is for, possibly security system? I don't have one that I know of but I suppose it's possible.

I pulled mine out ages ago and i use the cut in the liner to clip stuff onto, like radios. Never used it and when i started trying to i realized it didn't even work.

I always told people it was my security camera or hidden camera for when I had the back seats laid down and I was entertaining a lady friend, later found out it was just the keyless entry. I still tell people it's a camera though.
