I had a wet floor due to the passenger door seal. If that is not it, check the floor pan and make sure it is not already rusted through and soaking up the carpet from the bottom when you are driving. I also had that happening.

I did checked for that I removed the carpet to see. I thought it was the drain for the AC but is clean and back up. I'm thinking if it's the air intake for the AC or windshield seal?

Wet floor
I had the same problem with my 2001, only when my hood is uphill. There are a few threads on here, has something to do with the fresh air intake in the cowl, a bad seal. I have a sloped driveway and I back up it/hood downhill. I have never had wet passenger floors after a rain again.

I think I'm just going to throw grenade in it that should take care of the problem. Thanks for all the advice I guess I'll just have to narrow it down.

I'm looking on line and I can't find a "AC & Heater Unit Seal Kit 94 jeep cherokee xj" the only thing I can find is for a 1997. I find my water leak its coming form the seal that goes out to the firewall. Any way I can find one that could work.?
