Exclamation Wet floor. Need help bad!

Just washed my jeep the other day with the power washer at the local car wash. I DID NOT wash under my jeep. after washing I removed my mats to vacuum and my passenger side carpet was soaked but only in the area under the mat, nowhere else. I have no Idea how long it has been wet for but I'm concerned that my floor may get or already is corroded through. How can I tell where the water is coming from and how can I fix it?

Make sure it is not antifreeze. It very well could be a leaking heater core.

Well you should just take the carpet up, cause that was one of the reasons I took mine out. But I think on mine it some how leaked through those vent things where your windshield wipers. And it only happens when the water is under pressure on mine.

Don't think it's antifreeze, and I just drove my jeep 86 miles today with absolutely no overheating. And I smelled the carpet to see if it had a mildew smell (which would help me find out if it has been wet for a while) and it didn't smell like anything, just like a wet carpet. But I don't know if antifreeze has a smell nor do I know what it smells like.

In addition to what I posted earlier, It is under the floor mat in a very specific area. It is about the same size as the floor mat and it does not extend any further than the mat does. Under the door, next to the center console, and toward the firewall the carpet is perfectly dry. I have rubber floor mats that extend up toward the fire wall, but it seems only the part where the floor is flat is where the water accumulated.

Hopefully this will help:
From the top of the circle down towards the seat is where my floor is soaked, like I said it's only under the mat, nowhere else.

It's my DD so I can't rip the carpet out without a logical reason. I don't have the experience or money to rip the carpet out and replace it. I will try drying out the carpet and inspecting the undercarriage.

Well you don't have to completely take it up just pull it back and see where it's coming from, plus check on the rust cause when a buddy got in his jeep his foot pushed the carpet right through the floor causing a whole mess of problems!!!

It was my heater core. Didn't really think the two could tie together. So we need to pay $68 for the heater core and $1500 for labor because the freaking seats, dash, and steering wheel have to come off. We're just going to have my uncle do it for us.

I don't worry about water on the floor boards of my jeep lol. Seems like every time I take it out I end up with like 2 inches of water in the whole jeep lol...
I think I should stop driving through the st.johns river lol
