Wet Carpet everytime it rains!!!
In for a solution, my front passenger side is wet whenever it rains. I haven't looked for a leak yet, but it looks like its coming from under the passenger side floor. There is no water on the sides, front or back. It just looks like its leaking from whatever is under the carpet...as dumb as that sounds. I hope someone comes up with a solution soon!

I have the same problem. Anytime it rains my passenger side floormat is a bit damp. Apparently there is a fuse panel down there too? I pulled it back and the previous owner stuffed tshirts inside the trim to soak up the water.....its getting cold out now so I really cant start tearing this thing down. Going to have to wait for Spring :\

Heres what I got done today:
I finished pulling the carpet out today and found 1 more rust spot on my driver side which wasnt much.
I grinded down what needed to be and left what was already rusted through and used my lil baby grinder on it, just so I could a good contact area for the rust converter.
I rinsed and preped the area let it dry and then painted the rustolem rust converter on with a 1" foam brush over every little spec of rust.
After 30 minutes I applied a second coat
Waited for that to dry and then filled in all the holes with liquid nail and am now waiting for that to solidify

Also you can see that the bracing for my seat (or whatever you call it) is rusted through. Me and my neighbors cutting it off and plating up saturday. I found out the leak or should i say Leaks...yea theres 2 and 1 on my driver side. I havent checked to see where its leaking from there yet I definitely found the ones on the passanger side
My water seems to be the worst from my drivers side B pillar.. I just put some silicon in the holes for the factory roof rack and then put the screws back in.. Hoping that helps but they seemed fairly tight.. Any idea how I could get water under my seat and floormat?
It isn't even damp further up (behind the pedals).. Seems like it is coming from behind.. Suggestions?

Haha isn't rust fun.
Do yourself a favor and fiberglass the whole floor since you have everything pulled up. It will save you alot of headaches and fiberglass will not rust.
I did this and it works great...

It has been one of the best things I have done to my jeep. After wheeling I pull my boat drain plugs and lightly hose off the floors and I never have to worry about getting carpet wet.

My cargo area floor gets soaked like this after rain. The rear seat in the middle gets damp too but the rear cargo area gets bad. Headliner sags so im betting its something to do with a bad seal that just runs to the back of the jeep.

Alright I found the culprit today I had a leak under my heater core and the vacuum line on the passenger side
Then the guy i bought it from decided to cut the boot for the electrical wire that comes through the firewall to make room for the amp wire he sooo brilliantly installed.
Either way I got everything sealed up and commenced to due an extreme water test ( i just sprayed alot for like 5 minutes) and ta da there fixed

Hey PapaJ you really need to look into it
After I started getting rid of the rust in my jeep I was talking to my buddy about it and he has the same problem and went and checked it out. Turns out the poor guys entire hatch has to be overhauled because it is that bad.
