top or bottom? i put it in the bottom but ive seen pics of it on top of the nuckle

What you are referring to is known as a high steer kit. I you have the stock setup, then on the bottom is where it goes. Good luck!!

if its stock it should only fit one way the knuckle and TRE are tapered

k thanks cuz i saw the v8 zj tierod in my cherokee builders guide and it had it on the top great book btw

might be because of these (tierod flip incerts on the bottom of the page) http://www.goferitoffroad.com/products.htm

you can learn alot from that book its where i started
