went from 3" to 5". bad DW at 50 mph
i just went from 3" to 5" on the cherokee (ill post pics asap). when i hit 50mph i get a really bad death wobble, which i was kinda expecting. i went and got an alignment like 10 mins ago and its still bad. a friend told me to get an adjustable track bar and id be all set. im figuring hes right since hes up 5" also with 35's. i run 31's. my question is, until i get a track bar next week, is there anything i can do to help it for now? its my DD and i have to go back and forth to work, but theres no way im getting on the highway lol. any help is appreciated.

Nope. Drive 49 or less, till you get that track bar. http://www.carparts.com/autoparts/It...32380310793950

i have that track bar, and 3 of my friends have Had that track bar from RC.... that joint breaks pretty easily, all 3 of them and including myself have broken it atleast 2 times.... so if your a weekend warrior, go with one from Rusty's offroad... yes its more pricey but it will take the abuse... but if your rig is more for show and less trails then you'll be fine

whats probably happening is your control arms are trying to keep the axle centered under the vehicle while your trackbar is trying to pull the axle towards the drivers side (too much lift on a stock bar)
this stretches the stock trackbar bushings and when you hit a small bump or because your tires may be slightly out of balance it creates a wobble in the front end where that trackbar bushing has play.
